The purpose of the research is to know the using of antibiotic quality and the antibiotic therapy suitability. It has been given with the using of antibiotic guidance (PPAB) at RSUP Persahabatan in 2009. The using of antibiotic which is not efficient and rational can make the resistant, so the evaluation of using antibiotic needs to do with the quantity and qualitative, to help quantity audit the resistant antimicroba control program for the using of antibiotic. It can make the refreshment period about PPAB in RSPP Persahabatan to diarrhea therapy. The research description analyzed and data collective is done with retrospective, the data is arranged in the patient medical from January – December 2009. Using antibiotic is calculated based on ATC/ DDD WHO Standard. For diarrhea victim and the using antibiotic quality. Based of the suitability of therapy antibiotic has been given with PPAB RSUP for diarrhea victims. The result of the research shows the total of antibiotic used quantity is 918.22 DDD/ 100 days stayed, the most of antibiotic has been used are Ciprofloksasin, Seftriakson, Metronidazol, Cotrimoksazol, Azitromisin and the quality of antibiotic used is suitable as 22.61%, antibiotic which is not suitable 77.39% from 119 diarrhea victim hospitalized patient in Dahlia and Melati classes at RSUP Persahabatan.rn(G) References : 20 ( 1991 – 2007 )rn(H) Drs.
