FROM BOGORrnrn(C) xi + 45 Pages; 4 Tables; 9 Images; 3 Attachmentsrnrn(D) Key word: Curcuma longa L, antioxidant, endophyticrnrnrn(E) Tumeric Curcuma longa L.) one of the herbal plants, is very popular and commonly used by most of people. The research of endophytic fungi which is made from turmeric is still developing until now. Endophytic BgACl-2 fungi of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) was fermented for 16 days with medium Potato Sucrose Broth (PSB). Fermentation results was extracted with ethyl acetate, and then fractionated with column chromatography {(i) n-hexane-ethyl acetate [10:1-1:1]}. Result of antioxidan activity test is 55.08 %. Identification from spectral data UV, IR and GC-MS show substance produced from isolate endophytic fungi BgACL-2 similar to 4,8-dihydroksi-naphtalenon. rnrn(F) List of References : 32 pieces (1977-2012)rnrn(G) Prof. (ris).
