Using waru leaf is not comfortable so it be formulated to shampoo. Shampoo is a cosmetics preparative which is used to clean the hair and scalp. Experiment was done to compare 5 formulas liquid clear shampoo containing 5% waru leaf extract as active ingredients and Kokamidopropil Betain with increased concentration from 0%; 2,5%; 5%; 7,5% to 10% as thickening agent and other excipients. Physical appearance of shampoo had been evaluated in 8 weeks included evaluating of organoleptics test, viscosity and rheology test, surface tension test, bubble height test in pure water although hard water, pH test in room temperature (28-30ºC) and extreme temperature (40˚C). In physical appearance liquid clear shampoo preparation from formula I to V has not show changes of color, smell and homogenity. Viscosity of shampoo in room temperature (28-30ºC) is 7750-88000 cps. Density in room temperature (28-30ºC) is 1,0342-10363 g/cm3. Bubble height in room temperature (28-30ºC) in pure water is 3,20 – 3,58 cm and in hard water is 3,10-3,42 cm. Result of pH measuring in room temperature (28-30ºC) is 6,00-6,02 points. Stable formula is gotten for 8 weeks in room temperature (28-30˚C) and extreme temperature (40˚C), that is formula IV (F) References List : 20 books (1980-2011) (G) Dra. Tiomas Pohan, Apt (H) 2012
