Tornthe preparation lotion, 2 stage evaluation. The first stage of the physical andrnchemical evaluation at room temperature include: organoleptic (color, smell,rntexture), homogeneity, lotion type, viscosity and flow properties, globule size,rnsedimentation volume, and pH. The second phase stability test is done byrnstoring the dosage for 8 weeks at room temperature and the temperature ofrn40oC and use ANVA 2-way to determine the effect of xanthan gum thickenerrnand save time for the evaluation of test results .. Results evaluation phase 1:rnpreparation reddish white, smelling jasmine, soft texture, homogeneous andrnthere is no separation by type lotion M / A and the flow properties tiksotropikrnplastis. Stability test results at room temperature and 40oC between formularnshows that at room temperature and pH the greater the viscosity, the smallerrnglobule size, whereas 8 weeks of storage at greater viscosity, pH and thernsmaller globule size. In the formula II (0.1% xanthan gum) did not change thernformula for the test results between the retention time of 8 weeks at roomrntemperature and 40oC. It can be concluded that the formula II (0.1% xanthanrngum) is the best formula is physically stable and pH.
