This study aims to formulate Solid Lipid Nanoparticles standardized extract of kumis kucing leaves that provide inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase. This study used a standardized extract kumis kucing leaves, afterwards determination of the extract quality including microbial contamination, water contain, total flavonoid. Standardized extract afterwards was formulated into Solid Lipid Nanoparticles, afterwards characteristic SLN standardized extract include average particles size and distribution, zeta potensial and morphology, organoleptic, stability and inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase in standardized extract and SLN. The results showed total plate count less than 10 kol/g and mold leavened count less than 10 kol/g, total flavonoid of 1,51% and water contain of 6,1661%. The results particles size formula I, II and III of 51,60 nm; 12,81 nm; 11,87 nm respectively and zeta potensial formula I, II and III of -27,67; -10,7; -15,0 respectively. The results inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase standardized extract, SLN formula I, II and III IC50 of 132,9613 ppm; 130,3508 ppm; 131,4224 ppm; 132,2156 ppm and acarbose as a control showed IC50 of 50,0587 ppm. t test with α = 0,05 showed extract and SLN formula I had significant different, it could be that SLN formula I is the best with 6% of tween 80 and 10% of propylene glycol.rn(F) References: 22 References (1994-2015)rn(G) Dra.
