It is usually utilized for its seeds. Red been seeds has quite high mineral sources, such as calcium, iron, and zinc, that are needed for physiological process of the body. The purpose of this research is to find out the calcium, iron, and zinc contents in the both organically and non organically planted red bean. The samples were dried and powdered then wetly digested by adding nitric acid (65%). Then, the samples were rested for 24 hours which were later heated over a hot plate and analyzed by using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. The results showed that the calcium, iron, and zinc contents in the organic red bean are 90 ppm for calcium, 14 ppm for iron, and 17 ppm for zinc, while in the non organic red bean are 70 ppm for calcium, 13 ppm for iron, and 16 ppm for zinc. The calcium content in the organic red bean is higher than the content in the non organic one. The iron and zinc contents are nearly similar both in the organic and non organic red bean. There is a significant difference on the t-test of calcium, iron, and zinc contents in the organic and non organic red bean. The t-count of metal is 3.9838-50.2924 that is higher that the t-table of 2.571.rn(F) References : 22 references ( 1979 – 2010 )rn(G) Prof. (ris) Drh.Darmono.M.Sc.rn(H) 2014
